This explore was undertaken with a friend who is not currently a 28DL member. I used a Nikon D50, Sigma 10-20mm and Sigma 70-300mm lenses, and a manfrotto tripod.

    History

The former 'tap' to Bert and Don Millard's Little Model Brewery, which stood behind, and which was demolished in 2004. The former pub still retains an old fascia - 'Established 1867 - Gipsies Tent Inn - Millard's Free House'.

It now appears to be owned by a Mr Singh, as we found some letters (and the recent census) addressed as such. The Inn has stood empty since some time in the 1970's, and is filled with magazines and newspapers dating from this time (and earlier).
Apparently the Black Country Museum has the bar fixtures and fittings.

    I loved this, a newspaper from October 1939, a month into WW2.
