I enjoy seeing this place a lot. A lot of the interior has a lovely patina where the original paint has come away from the plaster and then been cleaned up as restoration of the old manor house has progressed, and the lighting is fantastic with lovely great windows.

After the previous manor house fell into disrepair and was demolished in 1800 this current manor was built, although other farm and stable buildings nearby have survived. The current building was again neglected in the late 1800's and early 1900's, until the 1960's when restoration work in the whole estate begun again. The manor is still slowly being restored today.

As a lot of you know there are a lot of old documents on site, covering old tax documents, land indentures, receipts for work done on the property, logs of orders for the estate and more!

Almost every major room of the manor have fireplaces, and they're all different. Just one example of the lovely original features throughout.

The kitchens downstairs still have some stunning old range cookers, and also contain more documents regarding the running of the kitchens.

I have a couple more shots to figure out how to develop - if anyone has any advice regarding what software to use to produce an HDR image let me know!

    Thanks for reading :thumb
