Well what can I say about this place. OT and others have done the history on this location so I thought I would try and put it another way.

We arrived first thing in the morning to a quite village, after a small walk the concrete bunker came into view. First impressions were its going to be locked or here we go another small hole in a hill. How wrong could I be, entry was easy and after looking around no apparent amazement, then the lift , followed by the stairs down, down, down and down. This was unbelievable, the sheer depth was breathtaking and then the tunnels went on and on and on. I have never experienced a bunker of this magnitude, it is enormous it makes Drakelow look like a play pen.

The sheer size I cannot compare but needless to say there was more exploring than pictures done that day. I cannot post enough to do this place credit with what I took in 6 hours. Here is just some for a taster and the rest will follow after my return there.

UNBELIEVABLE one of my best explores ever !

    The Pictures....
