Welcome from a fellow Huddersfield-er, plenty of stuff to be looking at if you keep an eye on the local paper.

Also some in Holmfirth that I have seen pictured (internally).

They look good, not made the effort myself.

Mines all over the area. Marsden, Meltham, Honley, Holmfirth, Lindley. The lower coal measures are on the edge of the Yorkshire coal field though, so you tended to get smaller pits in the Pennine villages and much larger collieries to the east: Lepton, Flockton, Clayton West, Emley, etc.
