Hello & Good Evening from North Yorkshire.

I've been out & about exploring various locations for the past 10 or so years, however have only just decided to take the plunge and get signed up. Some interesting reports on here so I am hoping I should be able to contribute to the forum in some way.

I am particularly interested in tunnel photography, particularly well prepared long exposures. I notice there's some great photos & reports on here. I've recently just got back into photography from a 2 year break due to work commitments. Things have since improved so I've gradually been easing myself back into the game.

Here are some of my recent photos.

Some good pictures there mate. You should get some reports up when you next go places etc! And to import them from flicker just get the direct link from the side bar and click the image icon when you're creating a report and insert your image url there. Looking forward to seeing your posts :thumb

Yeah the floods were bad down the road from me in Otley. Never seen anything like quite like it.

Gave Kirkstall Road a clean as well ;)

Makes you wonder where all the needles have ended up with all the flooding around

Haha yeah Kirkstall Road was bad. I went down on Boxing day evening and watched as an industrial sized bin floated past the viaduct....

I missed most of it as I was in Darlington /Middlesbrough over Xmas . The Rivers managed to take the excess mainly up there but had less rain TBH

The Dark Arches is always impressive in full flood ☺ God knows what Megatron would have been lime in Sheffield

Well put it this way... you wouldn't want to be anywhere like that on the 26th of december just gone! you may have been propelled out of a manhole! - I know meanwood beck in Leeds was bubbling across the city. Speaking of Megatron, that one which is on my list. I think this summer will be the time to photograph these places, providing it doesn't chuck it down!

Well worth doing although even at low levels waders are preferable for the Cathedral roof part . Hate to think how much cap is piled up inside there now TBH it was bad enough before. Out of sight & porter Brook was full of crap already .

So much for spending millions after the bad floods few years back when all it takes is a Pallet to dam the porter Brook ....shakes head .
