Hello, I thought I'd made one of these but it turns out I haven't. I'm a bit of a newbie I guess when it comes to everything Urban Exploration, I've seen abandoned places, explored a few, unfortunately was an idiot and didn't take cameras where I use to live but now in the Forest of Dean I'm searching around for anything be it small or large, just as long as it's something cool, I'm armed with my Canon 600D so can't wait to share my finds here.

I'm a massive urban exploration nut mostly watching videos, reading up, browsing photos and I want to do that my self as I feel the best places are the ones frozen in time. We watch videos every night me and my partner, the kids love it to, they've found a couple explorers for us to watch as well. Just love seeing these places.

Thanks for accepting me and I'm looking forward to being part of this amazing community.

Welcome. Pine End works and Lydbrook cable works/tunnel are within easy reach of you. St Briavels ROC post isn't far either which might be a fun place to take your kids. Bring wellies!

Welcome, lots of us around Gloucestershire, do you like going underground? there's a couple of nice abandoned train tunnels that would make a good easy explore I can point you too.

Thanks for all the advice and thanks for the nice welcoming, Is Pine End still in-tact? I heard there was a fire around May this year? Me and my partner are going around a Lydney walk about tomorrow morning for an all day search of locations, I know there's an old petting zoo farm, it's quite a walk but was set alight by idiots, but there might be some of it intact. I'll have to check Lydbrook at some point I'm pretty sure there's a bus there, I'd cycle anywhere but I got my bike from cash converters and well errr didn't last long, wasn't worth repairing there was so much wrong with it so I gave it to the metal guys. Unfortunatly St briavils is a little hard to get to as there's no bus as far as I know. I do love underground yes I found a few train tunnels in my old birth town which was excellent but yeah if you can point anything that is relatively easy to get to that'd be great, I'm limited to the bus at the moment, perhaps save for a bike next year I hope. Jobless unfortunately at the moment I've worked since I was 16 and when I moved here I still haven't had any luck at all.

Welcome mate, you've come to the right place!

Fairly new myself and since joining here I've managed to do at least one trip a week.

Just a suggestion on the youtube side of watching urbex - Give 'The Proper People' a watch if you haven't already

Ah I'll have to get in touch then Clebby thanks. I did my first camera explore today, I've done tiny ones years ago but started up again and going out intending to find things. Also I love the proper people, really good stuff.

Ah Seffy that sounds fantastic maybe one weekend we could meet up or something and do some exploration.

Thanks man, will do. Went to crump farm today near nas hill you might wanna check it out before they tear it down, I posted it in the residential area, couldn't get in, it's quite secluded but people come past now and then, it does look like it's crumbling inside though so not sure if going in is worth risking.

If I had the money, well if I was rich haha I'd buy it, do it up, start a little rescue centre for dogs there, it's got the space, sad they want to demolish it for an estate.

Hi there, welcome to the site. As of mine and @conormizen_98 's visit last year there's a big fuck off boulder on the hatch of the ST. Briavels ROC post so it may well be less than accessible. We've yet to check out the cableworks in lydbrook so that might well be worth a look some time.
