Hi. I've known about urban exploration for a long time and have always loved watching photos and videos.
I lived in SW England for a while and almost looked inside the old hospital in Plymouth. Bottled it dozens of times.
I'm now in Midlothian and would love to hear from other Scottish members!
I recently heard that the Astley Ainslie Hospital land is due to be sold off, in a few years. The land was gifted and part of the agreement was that they not sell it for 100 years. Well, 100 years is up and plans are underway. It's supposedly going to take a few more years to get it sold and everyone moved out. It's a massive site so I guess it's good to have lots of planning time? Additionally, while the place is still I use, it would be easier to wander around and take pictures/notes without arousing suspicion.
