Hi guys I read a blog earlier about urban exploration and came across this forum. It's so interesting to think there's buildings, areas etc you can just explore on your own. Am I right in thinking however you can get in trouble though. Never done anything like this before but the idea you can just go for a walk and find something amazing fascinates me. I'm 25 not unfit but no Bear Grylls but I take it this Is something anyone can do!

Hello and welcome along, fitness isn't essential for exploring, but is useful to have regardless :thumb
    Whereabouts are you from?

Welcome aboard , don't worry about the fitness thing and
The trouble you have mentioned can depend
on what you are planning on doing.

There is a difference between civil and criminal trespass.
Some of the time it's being escorted off the site and having a
Slap on the wrist, but the police can throw you in the cells if
They feel like it, and some security services can be dodgy.

But I wouldn't worry about it anyhow ,
Just be aware and use your common sense.

    Happy exploring,
Looking forward to seeing some reports :thumb

Welcome in from wherever you are

It"s not all about physical fitness.

I"ve been exploring with people who can"t get their leg over a small fence and slide down Railway Cuttings on their Bums ........who"d have believed it :D

Hi and welcome, as Acid Reflux said its not all about physical fitness, you soon learn what you can and can't do. I for one fall into the category of the can't get my leg over a fence lol - I hate fences but you know when needs must you'd be surprised at what you can actually do ;)

As for trespassing here is a link to some trespass info.

Go out have fun, see where you end up. Personally if it felt wrong I'd skip it and try again another day. Also its not all about having an epic explore every time you try, failure isn't necessarily a bad thing either. I've traveled miles only to find access blocked or plans go awry its all part of the game.

Hi Solidsneek! I see your from Wednesbury, I myself live down the road in Walsall ha!

Just a quick question, have you found any places to explore yet?

Tomorrow I'm going to have a look around the Silver horse area in Tipton! Heard some stories of an old railway station and a abandoned warehouse around there.

    Cheers
