We (my boyfriend and I) stumbled upon this on a visit to Pembrey Country Park on Friday morning. After a quick google of 'pembrey bunkers' I found the report linked below from May 2010 and decided I should probably join up and offer what update I have on the site. I fully intend to do more exploration of other local sites as having had a browse my appetite is raging.

    2010 Report: http://www.28dayslater.co.uk/forums...workshop-pembrey-country-park-may-2010-a.html

EDIT: did a bit more research also

    from http://my-life-outside.blogspot.co.uk/2012/03/royal-ordnance-factory-pembrey.html

The exterior - matches up with the bunker in the linked post above, by virtue of green fencing and a lighter panel of 'door' covering in the middle left.

    Inside facing towards back:

There were still a good many cans and things of paint and primer in there, boyfriend picked some up just to see what they were, then put them back.

Bird's nest, behind you can see someone had started plastering the wall.

View from the other end towards the entrance:

While we were in there, there were two swallows that seemed to have made a home in one of the rooms off to the side, and we discovered an unlit tunnel/corridor that went around the back of the rooms. We were unable to discern the purpose of the tunnel - it also looked like on the floor there used to be train tracks. The 'Who won the war?" graffiti is now gone, unfortunately!

We also met a member of security who kindly pointed out that the sheet metal over the door was there to stop us going in, in his exact words: "Thats there to stop you going in, just dont hurt yourselves.' - He then drove off in an unmarked car.

EDIT: replaced shopping trolley with bird's nest, added more photos - apologies for quality on some, as stated I didn't realise I'd be doing a report on the site!
