This is my first proper exploration, any comments advice greatly revieved.
On this sunny alutumn afternoon I decided to drive down to Portsmouth as I had heard a rumor the Highbury College of further education in Cosham, north of Portsmouth, had closed after 40 years. Being a student there in the 90's I wanted to see for myself.
The college has moved to a new multi million pound site next door leaving the old site totally abandoned. Most of the 14 acre site is freely accessable with no difficualty in finding a point of entry.
I did hear workmen on site who appeared to be taking great relish in knocking seven bells out of every internal wall, who I managed to skirt round. I later found out they are checking for asbestos
Some of the site looks untouched but various places have been visited by chav firestarters and mindless jobs who just wanted to trash as much as they could:wanker

    Anyway on with the photos

I made my last visit recently to find workmen across the whole site, preparing for demolition. The curved roof in picture 2 is now no more :(
Lots of the other classrooms have signs of clearance being carried out and pikeys stripping copper piping leaving water leaks all over the site

I finally made it in to last the block and was surprised to find more classrooms in undamaged condition:)
