Visited with Sephiroth and Maybenot, thankyou to Xan and Exo for help with access.

Whilst we were onboard Bronington, Sephiroth who was looking for sailors announced that there was blue flashing lights approaching at speed along the quayside. we shit it and laid low in the wheelhouse and maybenot shut the door, it turns out that it was an ambulance that had been called to a ship docked just around the corner of the quayside. Panic over sephiroth continued his search for sailors.

    history
    --------
HMS Bronington was Constructed by Cook Welton & Gemmel at Hull and Beverley she is one of the Coniston class of minesweepers which were constructed between 1951 and 1959

She was named H.M.S. Humber and was stationed with the 10th M.S.S. R.N.R. In 1958 she was commissioned as Bronington and sent to the 100th M.S.S

In 1965 she was converted into a minehunter at Rosyth and stationed with the 1st M.C.M.S. In 1974 she was refitted at Gibraltar and then returned to Rosyth to rejoin the 1st M.C.M.S

HRH The Prince of Wales was in command for most of 1976 and visited her at the museum in 1992

After being decommissioned from service, the ship was purchased in January 1989 by the Bronington Trust, a registered charity, whose patron Charles, Prince of Wales commanded this vessel in 1976

For some time, the ship was berthed in the historic Manchester Ship Canal at Trafford Park, Manchester

In 2002, she became part of the collection of the Warship Preservation Trust and moored at Birkenhead, Merseyside, England that closed about 6 years ago

Since its closure , she remains in storage, now berthed in Birkenhead d awaitinging her fate.

Well at least it"s more level than it was the other week @The Kwan ;) It looks like we had yet another lucky escape that day :D
Seems funny after we were discussing the fact it was already sat on the bottom, obviously we were wrong:oops:

I won"t mention the word "Seacock" (cough) in case someone gets the wrong idea :D (only joking obviously)

Missed the report originally. As you said it had faired very badly over the years & also the missing gun
