Heyup...another newcomer here so go easy on me.Ive tried the search but to no avail and was wondering if anyone has ever paid a visit to Hopwood Hall,Middleton. On a flying visit back to old blighty last weekend decided to re visit the area having gone to school nearby 40 yrs ago and remember going to school masses in the church there.Although the whole campus has been totally transformed the church remains and is in the process of being converted into part of the campus.Walked right up to the church and the door wass open but there was someone working inside so didnt venture in...also behind the church the old hall is being refurbed. As it was a leisurely sunday morning stroll with the wife i didnt take the toggin´gear and due to flying home that evening never got chance to return...just wondered if anyone had been down there..could be interesting!...am sure by the next time im back in May it will be too late...dont know if this is of any use to anyone in that area ..hope so and its not a dead duck..access is easy by the public footpath that goes by the nature reserve and up through the wood..or you could just drive right up to it and take a chance lol...look forward to any feedback and good luck.
If anyone is in the Murcia area of Spain reading this please get in touch..there are still a couple of places here that havnt been totally stripped..although not so fkn many.. :thumb
