Very easy going visit, I've seen a lot of reports on this place in the past but its a great place for a beginner like myself. There are many photographic opportunities to be had here too especially when it comes to the Jags.

    History
I don't want to be taking credit for someone else's well sought out research in to this place by just copying and pasting it, so here's a link to @Lavino 's report which includes history and some great shots in my opinion. - http://www.28dayslater.co.uk/horncliffe-mansion-jag-house-rossendale-april-2015.t96208

    Visit
As pointed out earlier the visit itself for us was very laid back and easy going. The place itself was pretty much in plain sight after we stood on the wrong side of the road for a minute or two completely clueless we finally wised up and found the place. Like pretty much everyone we started off by photographing the Jags (with the odd surprise of a rabbits head or body here and there):thumb. We then made our way inside to whats still remaining of the mansion, which has pretty much been stripped to its bare root. Although there is still a lot of the walls remaining with some rather nice detailing on them I must say, I cant say the same about the floors and ceilings of which most are ceasing to exist. I still recommend a trip down although there isn't much left of the mansion but the Jags most definitely make up for it. So now on to the pictures. First up the main attraction of the whole place the Jaguar Graveyard

Some great photos there, I pass this place on a weekly basis and really should call in! Have they given up on the refurbishment now?

Thanks and I think they have really to be honest as there isn't much to refurbish anymore :thumb
