    Cheers for posting mate

DJI Phantom 2 eh, he wasn"t flying that in GPS mode it"d have smashed straight into the Tunnel wall

Surprised to see the BBC with all their Taxpayers money flying a Ps and on a stock DJI remote as well ....scary ;)

Makes my want to get mine out of the toy Box & dust mine down :)

Obviously not confident it wouldn"t crash so not sending a Hexcopter or Octo" in with a 5D or GH3/4 on it .

Surprised it was under control down there TBH as it don"t take much to interfere with the signals at the best of times, especially in an enclosed space with major steelwork & multiple radio systems being used.

They should do it at night , who knows what / who we"d see down there lol

I flew one earlier and its was surprisingly easy to be fair. Not sure i fancy it in a tunnel though.

It"s a whole new ball game in an enclosed space though mate, especially if you"re used to flying in GPS (stable mode) rather than the other more erratic options needing constant adjustments. I have the broken props to prove it lol

Try flying it near a radio transmitter mast that"s interesting as it enters Kamikaze mode or just fucks off at 40mph ;)

I have 2 P2"s one with Camera etc & one bare, and they fly totally different due to the weight increase, you wouldn"t believe it. I can fly the bare model towards me flat out and skim over me or obsticles, try it with the loaded up one and it"d be A&E or repair bill .

Cool footage. He was in NAZA mode looking at the switch positions on the remote.
Why use anything bigger? The P2 has some of the best endurance around, it takes good footage and it's small with less surface area. Yes a large hexa may be more stable but the smaller bird is an advantage down there and some of the footage I have got with mine is as good as anything you could shoot with an S1000 or Flamewheel size bird.
