so this was definitely the hardest and most exciting entry we have done so far. First of all the building is located on a fully operational dock with absolutely loads of workers and boats in the docks, getting onto the doc was lie a covert operation climbing barbwire fences and hiding from security, staff and CCTV. when we made it to the building we had a good look round and there was no way in without damaging the place so just as we were about to quit i decided to climb a fence onto the fire escape and up to the roof where there was a open door. And i am well chuffed we got in because this place was completely untouched, and even though it has lay empty for years the electricity was still on

so a bit about the history
Monumental 15-bay flat-roofed concrete grain elevator and warehouse with front block rising 5-storeys over storage base, small power generating plan to NE, asbestos-clad grain conveyors on steel stilts connecting Imperial Dock.

The B-listed Imperial Dock Grain Warehouse, the last of its kind in Scotland, was brought into operation in 1934 but has lain abandoned for almost a decade.

Now council officials have recommended the city agrees to a move by Forth Ports to tear down the imposing structure and replace it with new grain warehouses and an oil and gas marine base to service large ships.

Developers argue the move would pump an extra £62.6 million into the local economy and create 767 full-time jobs.

But Marion Williams, director of conservation group the Cockburn Association, said the grain silo was “an important relic from Scotland’s recent industrial past and one of a limited number of survivors of such buildings around the world”.

i am going to post a few more pics than usual as i haven't seen any reports of this location anywhere else

lol, to be honest we still are not 100% sure but next to them looks like a rotating funnel, so it looks like it pours grain into each one which would then take the grain to another location for whatever reason
