Went in to Intier Automotive a few weeks back and had a hell of a time. The whole place is fascinating and surprisingly large in the main factory buildings, it's only downfall was the removal of most of the machinery and extensive vandalism to the office block.

    History time.
Intier Automotive was a manufacturer of car parts for a variety of company's such as Jaguar and Toyota.
It was built around the old Golden Valley Mill site made in the early 1800s.
In 2006 the site was closed due to a fall in car sales and many parts being sourced from abroad.

    Future:
The factory has had proposals to be demolished/reworked into homes several times and the latest was in October 2014 although again there has been little movement on it since.

Rooftop walkway. Nice safe walk across the roof with only a few broken air con units in the way.

The biggest hall in the site. This place alone was around an hour hopping in and out of the rooms at the edge of it.

All the other images I have seen of this room have been flooded, looks like we got in on the right day.

This place really was great and with signs that it isn't going anywhere could be the gift that keeps on giving! Highly recommended.

I suggest you go and have a mooch and see for yourself, the fact that this report is over 8 months old & its your first post isn't going to help. A lot of things can change on a daily basis never mind 8 months :)
