Rapidly becoming the must visit urbex place in Germany, this hotel has been abandoned since the mid 1990's and is let out for photographers and movie makers as a location shoot (to date, around 500 "urbexers" have visited for a photo shoot). There is a phone number to call on the front door for access, and if you're willing to part with 10€ and a link to your flickr account, you'll have several hours mooching around a pristine hotel. Visited with a Swiss urbexer. While we were there, there was 2 Dutch and 4 Belgian explorers also.

This room belonged to a lady that used to live in the hotel until her death 20 years ago. The caretaker has left her stuff as is since then.

Nice place, HDR is a bit too much, though.

Fair point. Outside was bright sun so the range across the exposure meant some of these are more overcooked than I'd prefer for HDR. Still, its a certain "look" to the image and in most cases it works here (IMO)

    Loving this report!

This place is just stunning. I foudn this place but don't have the number of the owners. If i go there and i phone them, do you think they will come fast and allow me to visit this place the same day? Or do i have to plan a visit later?

The number is on the front door and the caretaker lives on site so in theory, he should be able to let you in on the same day.
