    Background
So, according to the Oldham Chronicle, this place was built back in 1840 but moved brick-by-brick over to the other side of the road in 1863 to make way for the railway running straight through where the building used to be. They also moved the road to create what's now known as the "jubilee bend" as it has to manoeuvre over the railway line (now a tram line). I can't find a date for when it closed but if my memory serves me correctly it must have been I reckon about 8 years ago now. A property development company has been trying to get it demolished to make way for houses, but locals tried to get it listed, and failed.

    Exploration
We explored this one back in April when I was taking my friend to see the mill at the jubilee colliery just over the road and thought it also looked like a good little venture. It has deteriorated a fair bit inside - doesn't look quite like I remember it, but the bar taps and some of the equipment inside has been left intact, as well as hundreds of beer glasses and plates that have just been left lying around as if the owners had packed up and gone in a rush. As all of the windows downstairs are completely boarded up it was quite hard to get photos and walk around (using my phone as a torch) so I apologise if the picture quality isn't great. I've not seen any other reports of this place online so if you do go please be respectful and leave things intact. Thanks :)

(P.S anyone know how I can get the images to come out smaller in the post without manually shrinking them all on my computer?)
