Visited with Bryag last night, a spur of the moment wee trip, ended up doing around 200 miles - cheers for the driving :thumb

This was opened in October 1960 and closed in September 1991.

It was in a nice spot by the loch...

It looked mint on Subbrit's visit, in 2001

Sadly, it had changed a bit in the past 7 years, a lot of good stuff had been taken. Still, a nice post, rather smelly inside though :(

    Looks quality stuff

Nice little priming arrangement on the pump :

    Nick Catford woz ere :D

And a wee shot of the view this place enjoyed:

A good wee post, if somewhat stripped.

    Here is my contri

War memorial about 40 yards form the post

Fire blanket, all present and correct

    The usual BT stuff

    Battery instructions

Looks like Florence Nightingale has visited:p

The Ark of the Covenant (or the battery box as it was known to the ROC)

    Beautifully crafted and intact fusebox

Sump, pump and hatch locking bar

    The loo

After we emerged, it was dusk over Loch Rannoch. This was the view

A worthy evenings exploring. Shame about the other one Zimbob. Maybe another time?:D
