Lafarge is one of the biggest cement manufacturers in the world, the name has been part of my working life for a long time and 20 of their wallboards were responsible for shattering my ankle a few years ago

After seeing this report - http://www.28dayslater.co.uk/forums/showthread.php?t=63280 - a while ago i wanted to give the site a try.....so after much fun around Manchester and too many redbulls NickUK suggested we give it a go.

Its a live site and the kilns and conveyors were all being very noisy.

We didn't manage the chimney area this time but the site is huge, with some interesting underground sections.

    Thanks for looking :thumb

The last one is definitely a good summary of how we felt after being up for over 30 hours!
