I am interested to see your photos and hear what kit you use? I saw a cool pic on here with fire breathing, I tend to use steel wool and bike lights. Sparklers, lasers and dynamite welcome too, any kind of UE related creativeness!

I used to be into light painting in a big way before I got into UE. It was light painting that got me into exploring, looking for locations to light. Made pics like these..... (all done in front of the camera, no editing)

Using wire wool and bike wheel with LEDs on it

Just several flash guns with gels

    Nothing more than a torch

test shots, appearing several times on one photo with move fast/stand still or light on/off (forest)
moving place in dark forest is a bit problematic

Another idea was dia projection using torch and lenses, which worked, but I got no showable shots

what are you doing with that steel wool, just burn it and it keeps glowing then by moving?
I think steel wool was part of flahlight bulbs once

I know what you're saying, and i was going to add to the OP about not meaning a well lit mine shaft or staircase, but i figured once i mentioned steel wool and LED I'd made me point. I figured i might not be the only one who draws 15 foot cock n balls on the dining room walls of derilict manor houses.
I love all the pics so far, BoroLad spinning over water, and franconians pics are what i mean. Not just steel wool, and lightpainting, but any mad tricks you try when moochin.
Or just stuff you've tweaked to fuck for mad effect, so not appropriate for a serious report.
