    good work there lads

“We have not received a complaint about this issue and as there does not appear to be any criminal intent, this is more likely to be a case of civil trespass and not a police matter.”

    nice one

I was wondering how it would take before this got into the news... not long obviously!
Nice comment by the police there, but shame the guy writing it worded it "breaking in"

That didn't take them long! The editor became a member, but didn't ask to use my (or I assume Horus's) photographs?

Not too pleased about being accused of breaking in, but it's to be expected with journalists to write that I guess. I addressed how we got in with a reply to Brick_Man:

It was. I was surprised to see the door held shut by a piece of rope leading from the door handle to a nearby scaffolding pole. I unhooked it from the scaffolding pole, the door opened and we were in. As Horus has mentioned, we didn't get very far as the door to the Nave was locked at the bottom. It would have been possible to abseil down, though. We left for sunrise shots and closed the door behind us.

"Lincoln Cathedral was unavailable for comment by the time of publishing."

Well, it is a building lacking the ability to communicate using words:p

The one where they threw me straight in by getting me to navigating a deviation after a night shift? I swear they did it on purpose, lol.

It's not, no. I'll do it after lunch. :p
