hi, I've always had a problem creating the link that displays a photo on the forum, and it's stopping me from putting reports up. I joined Flickr and uploaded a photo, then there are various option where you can display the url? Of the image. I've tried some of them, and assumed I could paste in the address bar and it would display the image, but the best I can get is for it to display the page that the image is on. Can anyone help me with how to do this ?

    Many Thanks

P.S, if there's another easier way, or easier hosting site to use, I'll happily change from Flikr, I just need the easiest way, and preferably a way of resizing muliple photos

    Thanks

Make sure your using Chrome or Firefox.

All you have to do with those is open the image in the relevant size and right click to grab the address for it. Really easy once you realise.

It's really easy when you know how :D

Go to the pic (open the full set in new tabs) and click the arrow in the corner then select the "View all sizes"

Then simply select the size you want and right click it
On Microsoft Edge select Copy Picture
On Firefox I think it's Copy Image Location
On Chrome it's Copy Image Address

Then paste (Ctrl + V) the image address into the image tags like this -->
    Code:
    [Img]http://i1123.photobucket.com/albums/l548/Paul_Powers/1_zpswk4ltmd1.jpg[/img]
If you use the visual editor then to insert an image just click the mountain icon and paste the image address into the box and your picture should show up straight away

Once you finish hit the preview tab then if it looks okay just sit back and feel the warm fuzzy smug glow of a job well done while you wait for the encouraging remarks from the other forum users to come rolling in
