Evening all, here is my first report.

re-uploaded the pix so hopefully the report will work this time.

Darkies Tunnel was originally part of the London and South Western Railway tunnel that ran through Plymouth. It was opened in the late 1800s and was finally closed in the 1970s. The tunnel sections pass under a large housing area near Albert Road and Devonport park, terminating at City College Plymouth (The old location of Kings Road Station).

I explored this tunnel with two friends. We entered the tunnel from the Keyham end and walked through both ways.

This looks like it was thrown from the car dealership directly above.

The track originally headed diagonally right across this picture on its way to Tavistock.
