Does anyone know the status of the Long Marston MOD depot? Reports from 2010 say secure with patrols etc.http://www.28dayslater.co.uk/long-marston-21-06-09.t41190#post-513317

Looks like it's being turned into housing and some of it has been built.

I know that the airfield is going to be developed too, I've seen the photos.

The built up / residential area of the depot is already new housing (Meon Vale). The sheds area is a secure industrial/logistics yard and there is a further internal area fenced off. In there is what looks like a concrete bunker and there was some activity heard beyond the woods. Satellite photos show most trains are near the former station, near another smaller industrial estate.
