The building was earmarked for redevelopment following the merger last October of the University of Manchester and UMIST to form a single University.

The Building stands at 21 storeys and is situated within the confines of the live University Campus. Coupled with this is the fact the Tower Fronts onto one of the busiest roads in the City Centre.

Looking over the Fosters Brewery and Hulme.
