Leary & I were given unsupervised leave for the day. Cake & snouts were packed and we decided to pay a visit to Mansfield Hospital.

Thanks to the help of some others on this site we found the place pretty easily, although the way 'in' was far from it...

Even though the info was pretty recent, a lot of changes have been made to up the security on site, so we spent a fair amount of time looking for an alternate entry point. Leary had so much grease on him he could have slid through a garden hose.

"If you think you can squeeze in, you get up here!"

We eventually found an entry point, and spent a good few hours poking about. I'll not post too many pic's as they've been done to death. (B&W Pictures courtesy of Leary).

Anyway... eventually we get up to the top floor. Leary takes a step forward and there's what sounds like a shrill 'beep'!

"Did that sound electrical"? I asked him.

Before he could open his chubby jowls the entire building comes alive with a deafening alarm, squealing away to everyone like a stuck pig.

We hightailed it back downstairs (too many levels at first) and eventually found the entry point.

By this time the alarm had stopped and we took a few pictures of the outside of the building.

We exited via a different route, which was a cinch, and headed home before the sky bruised, night fell and we would be forced to camp.

These pic's are probably subliminal copies of other peoples, but I cant see them in recent posts.
