Raf Market Harborough was home to a squadron of Wellington bombers. At the end of the war 14OTU was one of the first bomber training units to be disbanded. The Airfield closed on 18 August 1945. The battle HQ is one of the few buildings remaining and proberly the best for miles around. It is a standard design consisting of OP, main office, PBX room messenger room and toilet complete with its original door. The metal escape hatch is still in situ. The escape ladder is attached at only one point to the wall. Fun access with Binky under my arm.
