Went for an epic explore in London with silentmotion and The2musketeers , covering Millennium mills and Battersea power station. Started off with Millennium mills during the day. The mill was built in 1932, and at the time was the largest flour mill in Europe.

Had a very close call with security while moving on from D silo to the main site, however after a sketchy enterance (involving me being careless and cutting my arm ) we were in. As many of you are probably aware much of the building has been stripped (leaving large holes in many of the floors), although enough has been left to make this a very worthwhile explore. Photos are a combination of mine and Silentmotions, with Silentmotion's individually named

After a break for noodles, we moved onto Battersea power station. The largest brick building in europe, this well known site consists of two individual power stations. 'Battersea power station A' was built in the 1930's with 'Battersea power station B' being built to an identical design in the 1950's. Station A closed in 1975, followed by B in 1983 due to the increasing operating cost and the shift away from using coal in producing electricity. Sadly, this amazing site is in bad condition and numerous plans for renovation have fallen through.

We pulled an all nighter, trying to see as much as we could of this site. In particular we wanted to see the control rooms, but after hours of searching in vein we were forced to call it. Even without reaching the control rooms, this is an amazing explore and well worth all the effort and lack of sleep that went into it

One of the proposed uses for the site was apartments, so a showroom has been set up in a section of the building. Was quite an unexpected find :D
