    **Caution Pic Heavy**

It took me 2 days to find this, the first one I got my bearings mixed up and ended up on a trek a couple of miles in the wrong direction:rolleyes: but hey, it was a nice walk!!

2nd attempt came up trumps, a good bit of research and I found it.

Unfortunatley, its the worst one I have found yet, totally gutted, fire damaged, graffiti, debris:mad:. The bunks and cupboard are the only recognisable items in there.

    Now for the Extras...

Just to the N/W of the post is an interesting Aircraft post with a hexagonal hole in the roof and matching concrete base (the roof is now boarded over but has a hole in the top to get in.).

Next thing, is the best, Built in 1929, Hatherthwaite water tank (no longer in use) is built like a huge bunker, I originally got very excited thinking its some kind of giant control center but alas, it was not to be.

But, I was rewarded with some fantastic shots inside, the hatch was accessable and a ladder led down into about 12 inches of water, the echo's were immense, bouncing around and around. Anyway, enough babble, onto the pics!!
