If you don't already know, the council offices at the top of New Walk were declared to be structurally unsafe and so have been vacated ready for demolition. According to the council site these are going down in 'early 2015' which leaves us 2 and a half months for exploring. There probably isn't going to be anything interesting inside, it's more the night time views that will be spectacular. So who's up for it?

(For those that don't know me, I have done a lot of exploring but I have always shot with models inside and so have nothing to make reports with. This will change soon, and I'll be posting lots of reports!)

I hear secca are quite hot on this one, worth a look though. Pretty sure this is the tallest (are ugliest) building on the Leicester skyline?

Without wishing to give too much away, this one is definitely doable! Do you fancy a try?

Had a couple of looks without success but 60's brutalist architecture is really not my bag so can't be arsed.

TBH I'll be happy to see it gone forever.

Me too. KM_Punk had a closer look with a lot of running around and little success.

    Good Luck

Attenborough building on the Uni campus is tallest and also ugliest.:thumb

    Leicesters tallest buildings are

    1 Cardinal Telephone Exchange 84m
    2 St. George's Tower 82m
    3 Leicester Cathedral 67m
    4 The Summit 67m
    5 Goscote House 66m
    6 Thames Tower 58m
7 St. Mary de Castro 55m ---- not sure about this since it lost its spire
    8 New Walk Centre 55m
    9 Clipstone House 52m
    10 Framland House 52m
    11 Gordon House 52m
    12 Maxfield House 52m

Shows what I know! Attenborough is still the ugliest though.
