We set off from Winchester at about 6.45, and after picking up Firefly at Basingstoke, were at the site by 8.15, and after after finding an access point, were in by 8.30. They've put a perimeter fence around the site inside the main fence, so we just found a place to slide under. After getting in we had what I presume is the traditional play on the big pipe, where loads of 28DL users had written their names in the dust. We then went into what we thought was a cooling tower, which has a nice control room at the top to play in There was a blackboard (thats racist to call it that now, isn't it?) in there that had some names on it, but it looked like it had recently been wiped. We tagged this and took a few photos. This is the building right next to the aforementionned pipe, for those who've been.
After this we walked round to the air house, had a play in the control room. Loving the DOS manual and floppy disks. We tagged the whiteboard as well, saw loads of names on that too. Did the routine macro shot of the keys :D
At that point we discovered some other people were in there too, We heard what we think was a girl go 'shhhh', and we heard footsteps. We can only assume it was a girl, as buildings don't walk and talk.
We left this building, checking out the corridor full of rooms with massive doors, and headed down to the room with the cool door. Had a bit of a play in there, which was fun, and then we headed to the Sahara building.
We knew that people were in there as well, but they were stealthy and we didn't actually see them. We walked up the big pipe, which was baking hot, and I managed to trip up in there, which made a right racket...
After this we headed to Cell 3, which was fun. I think you get the message, Pyestock is Fun.

By about 2, we were pretty tired, had lost concentration and had started knocking things over, making noises etc. We headed back at this point, thinking we'd had a good explore.

So we had a Barbecue and eventually headed back home. On the way back we noticed that the IBM tower in Basingstoke had a massive crane by it, doing god knows what.

I hope you don't mind me tagging my pictures onto your thread Winchester.

I visited this place on Saturday afternoon with a couple of friends who've never been exploring before. Sadly we could only spend 2hrs here as we had an event to get to but we had a fantastic time all the same. Visited the Air House, Cell 3, Cell 4 and the bunker to the North West end of the site.
