So, I explored the old site of North Leam school. it's a bit of a tourist site, but I've been there a few times before and I thought it would make a good first report. This is my most recent exploration with a friend and my sister, in September 2015. This was North Leamington School, before it moved into the new buildings nearby in 2008. The old site was used by an airsoft company until 2013, so the place is full of BB pellets. Security's interesting: they have PIR sensors dotted about the building, which have caught me and my friends out twice. I feel sorry for local residents, the alarm is pretty loud. This time, however, the sensors on the top floors were switched off, which I expected, based on advice others have given me, but the rest on the ground floor that had caught me out before were off as well, which made things easier. Getting onto the site wasn't hard. We explored the outbuildings and found a chair with duct tape on it like someone had been tied there. We entered the main building by climbing onto a small wall (which has now been demolished) and then on to the first storey roof. from there we entered through a broken window and had access to the whole site. When we were up on the roof, unbeknownst to us, a local saw us and called security. We then explored the rest of the site, which took a good 40 minutes before secca caught us just as we were leaving. It was all pretty civil, and it was interesting to see the 40 minute response times they have. You'll have to forgive the photography, it was all on my phone. Also, apologies for the image sizing. PS: Does anyone know why the Design block has a room full of car tyres? I can't come up with an explanation.

Good effort, seems it's been through even more of a thrashing since we were there!

The PIRs all lit up when they sensed us there, but no alarm ever sounded (to my knowledge anyway!)..

Composition, Focus and Stability are the downfall...

My guess is something to do with the Airsoft, for obstacles or cover.

Thanks for sharing, I'm thinking of visiting, and I was wondering if I could have some more infomation about the security confrontation. You've already said that the sensors were off, and that it was a local that contacted security, but what did the security do, did they take names and that's it, or did they contact Police etc?

To be fair if you're walking about on the roof in broad daylight right next to housing estate you're probably going to get a security confrontation.
