    Currently there are 20 fire engines tackling a fire at Northfield Manor in Birmingham, unfortunately going by this image it's gone past the point of saving

    Its a disgrace, the Uni had no right to sell it in my opinion. The Cadbury family did a lot for the area around here, it's not really a fitting end to the building IMO.

    Fire service say they have saved the rest of the complex, only problem is the bit that burnt down (80% torched) was the oldest part and best bit. This is the worst bit which I reckon is lost forever....

    Just like the kids who so say were spotted running from Cane Hill. After some time it was decided that 'the place self combusted'

    This place was locally Grade A listed and was struggling with planning permission to convert it into flats. Nothing more to say...
