This big 70s tower block has always been a bit of an eyesore in the green north London suburb of Whetstone.

Since businesses moved out about three years ago, it’s been derelict/squatters' crib/pikey hotspot. But about a year ago, development work commenced to turn it into flats. The crane has always teased me from my bedroom window so I decided to go over to investigate.

Northway House is a residential development in Whetstone, London N20.

The 70s office block will be given a new lease of life and be transformed into a stunning landmark development.

    Northway House will comprise 1, 2, & 3 bedroom apartments and a 4-bedroom penthouse.

The building set to go through conversion into a highly desirable residential apartment building. The project will be designed and delivered in line with Redrow London's on-going commitment to delivering high-quality, aspirational property to the London residential market.

:rolleyes:Highly desirable’ – don't you love all that regeneration marketing speak?

    So on with the pics…

Cheers - definitely got my eye on that crane when it becomes more doable.
And yeah, Planston Works is the printing factory - still makes for an interesting gander despite the arson attack last year!
