Whilst on another long work related trip with eyes out for derps instead of service stations to break the journey, I came across this little place. Well I flew past at 60 on a nice Welsh A road before before it registered and I jumping on my brakes and skidded into a lay by to take a mooch. I was in shorts and a vest but proceeded onwards into the waist deep brambles to take a closer look. It turned out to be a nice little find with a few original features and no vandalism (most likely due to the brambles and it being in the middle of nowhere)Sadly the out buildings are in a real state of disrepair with collapsed roofs and ceilings so any cool things what were in there are in a big, mucky, brambly, heap!

I can't find any concrete History on this place. All I know is the water, electric and gas were cut off some years ago from unopened letters in the porch.

All I can do is assume it suffered a similar fate to many welsh farmhouses. An elderly occupant may have died the house falling to next of kin or similar. Judging by the amount of furniture left it's been partially cleared and a few pots of paint here and the suggest that someone may have thought about decorating after the clearance but never got round to it.

Anyway onto some pictures. Some are not as crisp as I'd like as I didn't have the tripod, so High ISO, wide open and faster shutter speeds were required! :(
