First Post, be kind. Any advice appreciated.

Located in Walkergate (East end of Newcastle)

The property comprises a three bay factory warehouse premises with ancillary office accommodation served by two roller shutter doors to the front elevation.Internally the eaves high is approximately 23ft (7.01m), the unit is also served by five tonne craneage.

The building has been up for sale for £500,000 and then removed from sale.

A planning application for residential properties was redacted and an application to demolish the building was applied for.

Here is the notes from the planning office:

The prior approval of details of the method of proposed demolition and any restoration of the site is not required. Therefore the information supplied in the notification is sufficient and demolition may proceed.

I'm up for this being my first Urbex as I live less than a mile from it but I just need some confidence :)

Passed by today and demolition has already started :(

A couple of blokes were leaving at 3:30pm on a Saturday but might have been security just checking the site.
