I've been interested in a visit to this place for quite a while, and previous reports of externals made it even more tempting...
History is a little vague, but I'm sure you've seen this place from the M1 between Chesterfield and Sheffield. It was a coal disposal point, so basically coal came from the mine or opencast, was washed, crushed, graded and loaded onto trains for dispatch to power stations etc.
    It closed in 2006.

I visited with Thompski and Raptor Jesus, on word of an access point from ThenewMendoza. Once we had found this we got in and were not disappointed. Some nice security cat and mouse type stuff too:)

Hopefully Thompski and Jesus will add some too.

    Thanks for looking
