Anybody got any good places to go camping for this upcoming weekend?

Somewhere where they let you have fires or just somewhere out in the wild where no farmers or country park type will bother us?

im not interested in campsites just seeing if theres anywhere anyones been and got away with a couple of days roughing it.

last time i did it i got moaned at by some park warden type.

after anywhere really furthest id go is probs the lakes, but itl probs be hammered due to bank hol.

just thought id stick some feelers out. cheers

Broomhead reservoir near stocksbridge. Not really north but its a decent spot if you want to explore in sheffield.

Garlic Woods, Scarisbrick. It's just outside Ormskirk, next to the Leeds Liverpool Canal. Really nice if you're quiet, and there's fresh water streams there..
