After a rather uneventful drive I arrived at Dweeb's with the intention of seeing both the Peugeot plants (Stoke and Ryton) before it's too late. An hour was spent just marvelling at the treasure trove that is Dweeb's bedroom before we headed off to the Stoke plant. This done, it was over to Ryton.

We'd decided night-time would be best to avoid the attention of workers and security. Once inside the plant, we realised how dark it was. A bit disappointing, although lots of fun. For the whole time we were there, there were lots of bangs and sounds - not sure what was going on but we never actually saw any people.

In a way it reminded me of exploring the Longbridge plant, abeit on a much smaller scale. The main assembly line was good, and so was the paintshop with lots of spaceship-style drying tunnels. All in all an excellent explore and well worth the drive, but sad in a way to see the last of Coventry's once-mighty motor industry labelled up for scrap and auction. This country is only a shadow of it's former self.

Big thanks to Dweeb for the company, Strongbow, Raleigh Tomahawk and floor space.
