The stoke works was built long before the second world was, as the Humber works. Cars bearing Humber, Hillman, Chrysler, talbot and peugeot badges have been built here. The site is an odd one. Some has been completley flattened, some is still in use and a chunk in the middle is derelict. The large building is completley empty, but impressive because of it's size. The real gem was the work's power house, which is untouched from donkey's years ago. Boilers, furnaces, compressers and instruments of all sorts of ages and styles are evreywhere. An ornate spiral staircase takes you up to offices and a substation. Top explore!
