Report - Pevensey ROC post Sussex Group 1/11/07

    Reported that only the the compound fence remained so the post must be in or under this mound.


    The shadow in that image was from some large Leylandii next to them I found this sign. Hope their experiment was more interesting than growing Leylandii.


    Spent ages on the mound in amongst the gorse and brambles all I found was this area that had a few bricks and lumps of concrete around.


    Is this metal object part of an ROC post? Maybe somebody will recognise it as 'wotsitathingy'.


    Then on the other side of the mound found this row of concrete posts...


    ...and gate.


    Maybe that could be the remains of the compound fence? Sorry its not very exciting but was a pleasant hour spent in the sun on a November afternoon and its another ROC post accounted for.
