Pilkington Glass works closed in 2005 and is still empty. There is however some evidence of work. It is located in Redcliffe about 2 minutes away from Temple Meads station. This was over two visits and the last few photos are us having some fun with ye ol' long exposure. The glass works connected on to two other warehouses and offices. Sadly, there is very little info about these places online. Will try to update with bit more of a history.

    Was a fun explore nonetheless!

Through the doorway leads on to the roof and over to the main warehouse of Pilkington glass.

The scary hole that goes straight down the whole building.

The Main warehouse! The biggest out of the three.

Can't believe how quickly this is going. They are reshaping this quarter of the city but thought pilkies might of stayed around a little longer. Was a pretty decent derp back in the day.
