    This pool is a type of pool from the national program to build industrial-type pools, launched in the early 1970s, which led the construction of 183 pools of this type in France in the late 1970s and in the early 1980s.

    This program was initiated in 1969 by the ministry of Youth, Sport and Recreation and was aimed to learn children swim. After the bad results of the French swimmers in 1968 at the Olympic Games.

    This type of pool is 25 meters long and 10 meters wide. The base is a circle of 35m in diameter. The roof height of 6 m consist of a dome that opens to 120°, driven by metal arches.
