    HISTORY
The problem we find with these residential explores is that the history is never documented and what is documented is usually hear say and local rumour from what I can find out is the house belonged to a married couple and his mother there names were Janice and Andrew no name for the mother , from the looks of it they married couple moved out from the farm and the mother died in 2002, the farm was a small cattle farm with a handful of sheep and cows. The house remains unsold as the son didn't want to part with the property and hence it was left to the elements.

    EXPLORE
So after we had our brief visit to calcott this was always our second explore, so back in the car and 25 minutes later found ourselves walking through the garden with all the old vehicles, What we found there dates back years they must of been on the property a long time old Austin seven, Austin allegro, Vauxhalls from the 60s tractors basically all sorts, then we moved into the house I was a little blown away from all the junk in the entrance and it became plainly clear that whoever lived here was a prolific shooter , There was gun liscences and ammo everywhere some still live then as we moved further in you could feel the sadness in the house , all there personal belonging still in situ old family photographs, there furniture Christmas cards with there names even the two dogs they owned whos name tags I found in a biscuit tin you could tell by the way they lived it was by no means a modern existence still using a chamber pot for the night time as not to disturb the house very sad and eerie feeling walking about but despite that it was a fascinating explore and one I wont forget in a hurry

    PIKS

Great set of images. Empty houses don't do much for me but seeing the relics of peoples lives brings them to life. Thanks for sharing.

The gun license must have been an interesting find...houses are always a bit different to the average derp but that's what's interesting I suppose

    In short - no

Drove past yesterday and someone has blocked the gap to the right of the gate and put some signs up to say it's dangerous and trespassers will be prosecuted (usual nonsense basically).

There seems to be an increase in the theft of items from here and the other well known local residence recently.
