Hi there, this is my first post here so I'd like to say far I really like the atmosphere of this community! I hope to make plenty of reports like this one in the future! :]

Secondly, I know poltimore house has been visited before on 28dl, but not everyone has had the opportunity to visit the upper floors, and without having to follow a guide. Only the bottom floor of the house is open to the public on specific (few) days of the year and is covered in scaffolding... Being relatively untouched on the second and third (or roof) floors there are some great photo opportunities!
I visited with a friend, he's known as 'daylightghost' on here, so you may see him post a fairly similar report sometime!

We visited earlier today (16th March 2012) which is of course the same day as this post! :] Hope you enjoy it!

I've saved the HDR to last, because I know how much you love them ;]

Just another quick note I'm adding, if anyone here does decide to have a look around themselves, then be careful walking around the top floors. Some big holes in the ground have been covered over with quite flimsy sheets of wood, and if you stepped in the middle of them they would probably break and you'll go through the floor ;] I almost did it myself...
