Decided to visit my first hospital / Asylum so decided on Pool Park in North Wales. Won't go into the history has its been done many times before. A 2 hour drive from Tamworth with a few stops at a few derelict cottages and barns on the way got to North Wales around lunch time. After an hour driving round the Welsh countryside finally stumbled across this place. A number of the rooms are now in a pretty bad state with leaking roofs with quite a bit of water in some of the rooms, kept out of those ones in case of a falling through the floor scenario. Looks like a far bit of damage to the wooden panelling with a number of panels pulled off the walls. Only disappointment of the day was not realising Denbigh Hospital was only 7 miles away, did have a quick look but didn't go in as I'd done no research on this one. Overall enjoyed this place although nothing new with the pictures...

And I guess no visit here would be complete without an appearance from the chair

If anyones looking for a partner in the midlands area give me a shout and maybe we can meet up.

    Cheers for looking.
