    Hello everyone.

Ages ago, my school used to go to a holiday camp thing in Crich, Derbyshire called the Briars. The coaches that took us to daytime activities would almost always take a left out of the gate, and through the town, however one day, the coach took a right, and went down towards the Ripley road. I remembered the other day some sort of chemical plant being there; a quick google maps search reveals a pretty much decimated site, but maybe there could be something of interest there for someone nearby.

    Home Page:
It's Stevenson's Dyers, it's largely gone now but was pretty empty when it was still there.

Cheers for the info, and sorry about the map link not working :(

I've found a site that shows a couple of pics. Looks a relaxed mooch all in all.

    Cheers,

Stevensons dye works. Its in a very small village called Bullbridge. Just down the road from Crich. It doesn't exist anymore.
The whole place has been knocked down ready for new housing development.
