I had a nice few nights away camping this weekend, with the intention of doing nothing but chilling the fuck out with some good company.

However, while browsing Bing Maps to see what was in the area, I discovered this mast.......

...... Was about a mile away, so it would've been rude not to.

The details/history of the mast are not abundantly available, but a small search reveals that it is a former USAF radio relay station, and is 200 ft or so tall. As I find more info, I will add it here.

Edit: a little information kindly forwarded on to me by 28 member Storm (many thanks)

So, at teatime, myself and Groundcrew Styru had a wander up here, and off I went.

It was around about this point that I was once again questioning my sanity:-

    But I carried on anyways.
