    Hey guys,

I recently started to get into climbing, I have climbed 2 radio towers and have another planned (in Haywards Heath and then possibly Truleigh Hill) ready for some decent weather. Here's a video of a climb on a radio tower in Swain's Wood : https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCjB1IXbEufXh7sv1ubHivqg

If anyone knows of some radio towers or similar structures around the West Sussex area please let me know. I have found a Wikipedia page listing a few but have already climbed all the reachable ones: https://commons.wikimedia.org/wiki/Category:Antenna_towers_and_masts_in_West_Sussex

    Cheers,
    Alex

Interesting vid. Gotta say tho, cannt condone the dangle off the top, one slip and youre fucked.
Climbed a few of these myself and they are fun to do and the views are something else, but
i wouldnt do too much hanging off em, you cannt climb a phone mast ina wheel chair or worse
    a box.
    Keep climbin tho ;-)

You should go for the BT mast on Truliegh hill, try to go on a clear sky day and the camera will love it ;)

Old thread, but why stay away from Airwave antennas ? If you have any sense at all, you wouldn't be climbing the masts. Airwave antennas are the least of your worries. Trust me, I'm an engineer who works on the TV and Radio broadcast transmission equipment. My advice, get another hobby before you kill yourselves in a nasty way.
